Why We Built This
VerifyClients was created in response to a real, growing problem facing independent professionals across Canada every single day.
The Problem We Couldn't Ignore
Independent professionals — people who work privately, meet clients one-on-one, and operate outside traditional workplace structures — have almost no way to verify who they're actually meeting before a booking is confirmed.
Fake phone numbers. No-show clients. Deposit scams. Harassment. These aren't rare edge cases — they're daily realities for thousands of Canadians who work independently.
On the other side, clients booking independent professionals face their own risk: fake profiles, stolen photos, and fraudulent providers are rampant on every platform that connects buyers and sellers online.
Both sides needed a way to verify each other. No platform offered it. So we built one.
For Independent Professionals
Before confirming a booking, you can check a client's phone number or email against our anonymized community safety database. If a contact has been flagged by other professionals, you'll know. If they're clear, you can proceed with confidence.
For Clients
Before sending a deposit or opening your door, you can verify a professional's phone number and check for community safety reports. Look for the VerifyClients Verified Badge — a signal that a provider has completed our full verification flow.

VerifyClients operates under Canadian law, for Canadian residents. These are not aspirations — they are enforced requirements built into every layer of our platform.
PIPEDA Compliant
Fully compliant with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. We collect only what's necessary, store it encrypted on Canadian servers, and never share it for advertising or profit.
PCEPA Compliant
Built and operated in full compliance with the Protection of Communities and Exploited Persons Act. Any use of our platform in violation of PCEPA results in immediate permanent termination and law enforcement referral.
Canadian Servers Only
All data is stored on servers physically located in Canada. We do not transfer personal data outside of Canada. All stored data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit.
Queries Never Stored
Every phone number or email lookup is processed in real-time and immediately discarded. We cannot link any search back to you or the contact you checked. Your lookup history exists only on your own device.
Anonymous Reports
Your identity is never attached to any report you submit. Only the identifier, incident type, and city are stored. Not even VerifyClients staff can determine who submitted a specific report.
No Advertising. Ever.
VerifyClients does not display ads, does not sell your data to advertisers, and does not allow third parties to target you based on your activity. No profiles are sold, shared, or used for advertising. Ever.
