1Who We Are

VerifyClients is a Canadian privacy-first safety platform for independent professionals and their clients. We operate a mutual phone number and email verification and community safety network designed to help Canadians make safer decisions before in-person meetings.

We are a safety lookup and verification tool only. We do not operate a booking service, payment platform, advertising network, or messaging system. We do not facilitate or profit from any transactions between members.

3How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for the purposes for which it was collected:

✅  To create and manage your member account
✅  To provide access to the safety lookup dashboard
✅  To send you safety alerts relevant to your city
✅  To process membership payments securely via Stripe
✅  To respond to support and privacy requests
✅  To improve platform safety and reliability
✅  To comply with Canadian legal requirements

We do not use your information for advertising. VerifyClients does not display ads, does not sell your data to advertisers, and does not allow third parties to target you based on your activity on this platform.

4What We Do Not Collect or Share

We are explicit about what we do not do:

🚫  We do not sell your personal information to any third party
🚫  We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers
🚫  We do not collect government ID or sensitive identification numbers
🚫  We do not store the phone numbers or emails you look up
🚫  We do not link lookup queries back to your account
🚫  We do not share member identities with other members
🚫  We do not disclose information to law enforcement except as required by Canadian law

Your lookup history is private. Recent lookup history shown in your dashboard is stored locally on your device only — it is never sent to or stored on our servers.

5Phone & Email Lookup Privacy

When you run a phone number or email lookup on VerifyClients, the following privacy protections apply:

Your query is not stored. The phone number or email you search is processed in real-time against our community database and immediately discarded. We cannot link any search to you or to the contact you checked.

Results are anonymized. Safety ratings shown in results are aggregate community signals — no individual reporter is ever identified in a result.

Identifiers are masked. Where phone numbers or emails appear in the interface, they are partially masked (e.g. 604***4567) to protect the privacy of individuals in our database in compliance with PIPEDA.

Daily lookup limits. Free members receive 3 lookups per day, Verified members 18 per day, and Premium members have unlimited lookups. Limits reset at midnight ET. These limits help prevent abuse of the community database.

PIPEDA compliance: Our lookup system is designed from the ground up to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. We collect only what is necessary, use it only for the stated purpose, and do not retain it beyond that purpose.

6Anonymous Safety Reports

When you submit a safety report on VerifyClients, your identity is never attached to the report. Reports are stored with only the following information:

— The phone number or email being reported
— The safety rating (Safe, Caution, or Danger)
— The incident type (e.g. fake booking, no-show, harassment)
— The city where the incident occurred
— A brief description of the experience
— The date and time of submission

Your member account is never linked to reports you submit. Our system is designed so that even VerifyClients staff cannot determine which member submitted a specific report.

Reports are used solely to calculate community safety ratings and generate alerts for other members. They are not shared publicly, not shared with third parties, and not used for any other purpose.

You may also maintain a personal Block List in your dashboard. Blocked numbers are stored locally on your device only and are never shared with other members or our servers.
